The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. It's relaxed, low key, friendly and fun.
WHAT HAPPENS?
Alpha consists of a series of talks looking into topics such as 'Who is Jesus?' and 'What about faith?' After each talk we divide into small groups for a time of discussion. There is a meal together at the beginning of each session which gives
you an opportunity to get to know each other. Listen, learn, discuss and
discover. And ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too
simple or too hostile. And it's supported by all the main Christian
denominations.
WHO IS ALPHA FOR?
Alpha is for everyone, especially: People wanting to investigate Christianity, new Christians, newcomers to King's Community Church or people who want to brush up on the basics. Don't just take our word for it. You can find out from people who have been on the course. Read Emma's story here.
If Polish or Mandarin are your first language we also have literature and DVD's available for you to use throughout the course if needed.
