King’s Football - enjoying the beautiful game together
God has given one of his best gifts to humanity in football and at King’s Football we want to fully appreciate that gift and reveal the God who made it all possible! We enjoy playing our footy with friends, valuing the importance of a sense of team. Football also has the knack of making it easy to build good friendships and enjoy life together.
Everyone, regardless of belief or ability, is welcome to Monday evening kickabouts at the UEA Sportspark from 7-8pm on the astroturf pitches. During the summer we play at Eaton Park same time, same day. There are also three teams which play in the Norfolk Christian Football League on Saturday mornings of varying abilities for those keen enough to possibly don illuminous orange or purple kits! King's Allstars after an outstanding season were successfully promoted to the first division of the league. Our second side King's Park Rangers also achieved promotion, but are now becoming two separate sides and will compete as two new teams in the second division. If you're keen to play 11-a-side and you can last the 90 mins then there's space for you in one of these teams!
Feel free to come for Monday kickabout even if full 11-a-side footy is not your cuppa. You’ll find a friendly crowd, an appreciation for diversity in ability, a chilled out atmosphere and copious amounts of banter to boot!
We look forward to you joining us!
Women's Football has just kicked off this summer. If you're 16 and over and interested in trying out playing football or if you're a seasoned pro then come join in. Throughout this summer we have coached sessions at Eaton Park from 7-8pm on Tuesday evenings where you'll find a friendly crowd of mixed ability who enjoy playing football together.
We also have recently begun an under 14's team who will play in the Norfolk Christian Football League next year. This is a chance for young lads to enjoy football with mates and learn to walk through the challenges of life with God.
