* This does not mean we are all old and wrinkly! An elder is a term used in the bible to describe a man who has been called to serve the church in a distinct leadership role. See: 1 Peter 5:1-3, 1 Timothy 3:1-7, 1 Timothy 5:17, Titus 1:5, Acts 15:4.
